Finally got around to drawing Kanna from Inuyasha.
When I first watched Inuyasha, my impression of Kanna was 'an adorable character with little to no screen time'. Like she got what, a maximum of 3-4 episodes? Then the rest she's just kinda lurking in the background or something.
*SPOILER* (For those who never watched Inuyasha) The only episodes she appeared in that stood out to me was when she was first introduced and tried to steal Kagome's soul, and when she finally got her own tiny weenie sense of will, and helped Inuyasha's group, then died. My gawd I hated Naraku for like, killing off his "minons" the minute they became useless, though in Kanna's case I guess its indirect. Especially with Kagura, man, what a bitch move. I used to hate Kagura then I saw she was this badass woman and I loved her. I cried when she died. Ok, venting done. ~(-__-)~
I drew this for the Ultimate Massive Villain Collaboration. It's totally awesome and I'm looking forward to the final result. >>>[link]
I will be adding a link to the speedpaint video of this in a few days, since my friend is going to help me make the video. It'll be my first speedpaint video. XD
-------------------------------------- Kanna c) Takahashi Rumiko
Very nice. I, too, liked Kanna XD I always hoped she would get a little bit more attention... and when she kinda got it, she died. How typical for those 'side-charachters' But still, a very nice picture :3
'an adorable character with little to no screen time' i laughed at that i wish there's an episode featuring kanna as the main character, but that's not gonna happen ( - -)

These animators just never give the fans a little love.
I love the coloring of her Kimono
